Balance-indicating Fountain Pen
This fountain pen communicates its ink level through balance rather than an added indicator.
Its form tapers gradually from the centre toward both ends, allowing changes in ink volume to shift the pen’s centre of gravity. When the reservoir is full, the pen rests toward the rear with the nib lifted. As the ink runs low, the balance moves forward and the opposite end rises.
The result is a quiet, intuitive reminder to refill, visible to the user without drawing unnecessary attention from others.
